Extended Stay America Suites- Elizabeth - Newark Airport

Destiny the front office clerk was amazing beyond that noting positive comes to mind. The property is run down. The walls were freshly painted but the imperfections were painted over. The shower rod was lopsided which caused the curtain to hang wrong water went everywhere the tub was stained and cracked, the stove was dirty, the carpet was nasty, the room had a musty odor. There were obviously tenants at the motel not guest who hung out up front smoking right outside the front door and you could not avoid the smoke while leaving. The coffee was horrible and we were offed only two different flavors of muffins for our included breakfast. And finally we asked when checking in about the shuttle to the airport and was told we needed to let them know when we needed it and they would call for i

I made this reservation back in October of 2025 for a king bed room. Upon check in, I get to the room and realize they gave me a double bed room. Which they swear were Queen size beds, but they were extremely tiny. I go to the front desk, they said oh yes, our king rooms are all booked out because people extended their stay. So no one tells me, my reservations meant nothing booking it over 4 months in advance. I said I got a king bed so my 2 yr old could sleep between his parents. Now I have to worry about him falling off of the bed for 7 nights. No apology, no refund for inconvenience. I was told oh you got the same price of the room as the price of the king room. I had to put pillows, and club chairs backed up against the bed and hope my child didn't roll over and fall off the bed. So I

I am a travel nurse and I use this place and I have been here for a while. I just go to work and go back inside, no interactions with anyone. A few of the staff members are great like very nice. The ladies from the morning shifts are great. But some other staff members from the evening shifts I just don’t want to deal with. In my experience, the encounter I had with one evening staff female front desk and one evening male shift housekeeping gentleman was very rude. They’re ways to explain something to someone without making them feel uncomfortable. I do pay to be here and I shouldn’t feel this way like they look down on you. People should know that some of us are professionals and even if I weren’t, no one should be treated as if they don’t belong. I am a paying guest and I’m very disappoi

This is not a paid advertisement. My family and i have had the pleasure of staying at Extended Stay America in Elizabeth, NJ. ( Newark Airport) I have stayed at many accommodations throughout my years and i have to say that the sheets were cleaner than mine at home. The bathroom was immaculate; not a mold spire anywhere ! The staff were not only professional but very kind and helpful. Oh ! The coffee is delicious- and the chocolate-chocolate chip muffins need to be put in the freezer because they taste like fudge. Whenever I needed anything, from anyone , they were always accommodating and quick to help. More importantly, we felt very safe and well taken of!

We got what we needed: a spacious living area; a comfortable bed, fully functional Internet & AC, and clean bathroom.||But beautiful it ain’t.||Oh, and unless you consider nothing the same thing as free, forget about breakfast. All that was offered was a packaged muffin and coffee, but they were out of both. Thank goodness there was an iHop within walking distance.
