Extended Stay America Suites- Boston - Waltham - 32 4th Ave

Horrible experience at this hotel on January 24 - 28, 2026. The rooms were being rented out to the public even though they are in the midst of repairing some of the deplorable rooms. My room 132, was dirty. A dirty piece of metal pole was found underneath my bed. The stove top could not boil water. The refrigerator had old broken spilled eggs in the back. The hair dryer was not working. There were no hangers in my room, The bathroom fan was not working. The toilet seat was loose that I almost fell off it. My bed side bureau was completely broken. There were missing pictures from the wall, that covered the electrical fuse compartment. The filter for the oven vent was completely dirty. Under the vent was never cleaned. The light bulb to the vent was blown. The staff do not seem

This is a good place for people in transition: overnight stay only. If you only need a place to sleep and then leave early the next day, then it’s probably worth staying. But watch your belongings because there are car break-ins.The rooms and the hotel itself is dirty. My room had garbage in the kitchen, the fridge has a smell, there’s a baby bottle with milk under the bed, the common areas are dusty and has garbage on the floor. The kitchen stove does not work, the do not have the kitchen materials they advertise: plates, utensils, pans, etc. This place should be classified as a cheap motel and should not charge $100+ for their rooms.

During our 4 day stay Paul was the BEST!!!! He made great suggestions and pointed us in the best routes to handle all personnel business and have the most fun. Paul was like a good friend who know the city well. The room was great for the price. Sometimes we dealt with traffic but Paul not only knew the best places to go he also knew different ways to get around traffic jams to get there. Whenever I come to the Boston area I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else.

Positive: People were always friendly and helpful. Linda especially helped me out with getting settled in my room with my pets. Negative: Electrical outlets could work better.

My group housed 3 unhoused pretty well behaved young people for well over a month at the Waltham 32 4th ave location. The people who work there are almost all incredibly kind and compassionate. They were very accommodating and always made the young adults feel welcome. If there was a problem, they dealt with it immediately, like a loose house phone wire or any other issue, all minor. The cleaning staff is patient and kind, the rooms were absolutely clean and comfortably appointed. I do not have everyone’s names but Linda and Paul were wonderful and all of their co-workers and staff. Thank you all so much for your humanity while running an excellent hotel for all your guests.
