Extended Stay America Suites- Austin - Northwest - Research Park

I am giving this location 4 stars primarily because the management and staff have been incredibly responsive to my concerns. I am currently staying here long-term while recovering from an accident, which has its own set of challenges. While there have been some hurdles during my stay—specifically regarding courtyard noise and issues with my refrigerator—the staff is actively working to resolve these complaints. I truly appreciate their willingness to listen and their effort to make things right during what has been a difficult time for me. It makes a big difference when a team is this attentive to their guests' needs.

Very clean environment, helpful and pleasant staff.|My stay has been if I were hm|Property well kept, easy access for washing clothes. Really enjoyed having acess to stive top for cooking and second TV for my kids. I would refer a d stay here again

Positive: GM, has really turned this ES around for the better - under previous horrible, incompetent management. This site is large and in an ideal place - next to VISA, Apple and Oracle in Riata Trace, right on top of them. Negative: don't like the concrete floors on the 1st flor - like the 2nd since wood floors for a somewhat bad knee.

Pros:Great staff.... Very helpful and kind maids and maintenance, next door to the pavilion transit center if you don't have a vehicle, affordable. Cons: breakfast could use a better touch.... **More creamers, extra coffee container, more variety of breakfast snacks... Fruits, cereal, more than just 1 nuti-grain.... Most of the time they are out of coffee by 8. Rooms could use a touch up... It's dated. Sofa couches*** horrible broken wont replace. On a side note***I checked in a week before the new owner took over*** the new management team is nice, please be patient with them as most are new to the ESA family. It's a learning process. The owner lives in Dallas ft Worth. There is a GM and AGM they will try to do what they can... Also note a lot of rooms are OOO. Again new owner tak

When we went to check in, there wasn't anyone at the front desk. There was a sign out that had a phone number to call. It looked like a local phone number but when I went to call, it took me to the 1-800 number for Extended Stay America. I had to work through the prompts and they weren't able to help me as they weren't local. We left and came back later. Later there was someone at the front desk. We asked if we could check in early. He was nice and tried to get us into a similar room we booked. I know they just purchased this hotel a few weeks prior so they were still fixing things up. The room he showed us was the same layout I booked online. There was a lamp missing and the office chair wasn't in good shape. He quickly replaced the chair and got us another lamp.
