Extended Stay America Suites- Atlanta - McDonough

These rooms are spacious and very clean. Bed is very comfortable and there's plenty of lighting as well as seating which is nice. My only 2 complaints is about the shower. The shower curtain is short so it leaves about a 3 inch gap at the bottom. You already know that water is going to run out and it did. I'm disabled and have very unsteady legs. The last thing I need to worry about is slipping on an unnecessary wet floor. I put the bath mat down but it was soaked and the floor still got wet. My other complaint is the "so called continental breakfast." If you love coffee, tea or oatmeal, you'll do fine. Otherwise, plan to eat else where. The muffins were in plastic and still stale. Yuck. Positive: Everything! My initial contact with front staff set the wonderful tone for my stay! Her customer service was over that charts and she was super accommodating. It is so true that first impressions are lasting. My room was outstanding! No complaints. Negative: I saw some questionable people in the hotel but overall I felt very safe.

The check in guy called his self a manager was extremely rude no breakfast tv didn't work have the 2 weeks I was there roaches everywhere alot of weed smoking in hallways and elevator little old crippled lady sitting at front door smoking and wanting to pet and kiss all over my dog don't think so never ask if I needed anything especially bed clothing it was a really bad experience I really don't think I will be back not worth what they charge

The staff is friendly and helpful. Although this hotel is geared toward people who plan to stay longer than 7 days, it was good value for a one night layover. Room is spacious. Full size refrigerator, kitchen area.

The location, comfort, safety of this hotel was great. I didn’t have any problems keeping in mind it’s an extended stay there are families, couples, workers all around with different circumstances. What matter to one may not matter to another.
