Extended Stay America Select Suites- Wildwood - The Villages

We stayed here for the month of October 2025. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and super understanding as I had a special needs adult son who could be loud. The housekeepers were super sweet and went over and beyond to help us in anyway! The hotel was quiet and setback from the road with a bit of land in the back for nice doggie walks. The laundry room was convenient and being able to stay with my dog and cat was a big plus. Because the hotel was built in July 2025 and was newer we were able to stay as we have mold illness and most hotels we can’t tolerate. Definitely would recommend. Thanks Extended stay! ❤️

Safe location and is located close to grocery stores, restaurants and other convenient stores, not to mention is closed to the Turnpike. Front staff were very friendly and professional. We had to extend our stay and the hotel manager gave us an excellent rate. I gave service three stars and not five. The reason for that was that the cleaning crew told us they change our sheets when in actuality they did not so I would be very cautious and be present when they clean your room.

Me and my parents are staying here for a really long time at the wildwood the villages location while looking for a house. We are very happy with everything clean room, very friendly staff specially the GM Laurent, very convenient location. Of all the hotels we ever stayed at throughout our lives Laurent is the greatest GM ever. He was very, very friendly and very, very helpful and helped through everything cause he remembered us from before staying here a couple other times and knew what we were going through and was there for us and helped us through everything and is making this our temporary home away from home. Title: The Sound of Cockroach Footsteps – A Total Nightmare On January 17, 2025, my family of four—including two young children—checked in around 10 PM. What followed was not a stay, but a descent into a hygiene nightmare. 1) The “Welcome” Party: As soon as we opened the door to the first room, we were greeted by a dead cockroach lying on its back right at the entrance. Shaken, we immediately requested a room change. 2) The “Live” Performance: The second room was covered in dust, but being exhausted, we tried to settle in. Then, in the silence, I heard it—a distinct “patter-patter” sound. A live cockroach on the desk stared me down before scurrying away. The fact that I could hear it moving says everything about the state of this place. 3) The “Biohazard” Suite: After demanding a clean

This hotel is close to The Villages, but that's about it's only perk. Our first room was dirty and someone had smoked in the bathroom. The front desk person was not surprised by any of this, so it seems like a common thing. We were moved to a different room that was a little cleaner. There is a "full kitchen" but nothing to cook. If you want ANYTHING (including toilet paper because our room did not have any) you have to go to the front desk. They only have one person working which backs up very quickly. There is nothing to cook with, no silverware, and no coffee anywhere. The kitchen is nice but you have nothing unless you go ask any time you need something. Would we stay here again? Maybe. It was very over priced for what you got and I would be bringing my own cleaner.
