Extended Stay America Select Suites- Philadelphia - Malvern - Great Valley

I really do not want to share my experience because I'm a rather positive person who doesn't complain and I'm grateful I had a place to stay after we lost our home from storm damage but I wouldn't recommend this place. They supposedly did pest control in our room yet we have roaches. Housekeeping only cleans every 2 weeks if you're lucky. Everything is constantly breaking, my mom with COPD and I got locked out of the main entrance and had to walk around the whole building and my mom barely made it. We reserved a month and wanted to pay that but get unexpected charges weekly. Nobody explained the pet policy and we had an unexpected $200 fee for not declaring my cat that I thought they knew about, carrying him in in his crate. And $25 a day extra everyday. I thought the $100 deposit we paid

Megan is amazing , great service and very accommodating, amazing energy and smile, made me and my girlfriend feel very at home, and when I messed up my reservation, she was here to help out, also the housecleaning crew are nice and cool people as well, good experience overall

Positive: "" Negative: The internet was extremely slow. I couldn’t read my e.mail. On top of that they want to sell you an internet package. The bathtub was really short. They didn’t give you new towels daily. The bed was a little to soft for my liking.

The staff is RUDE!!! And DISRESPECTFUL.. Shannon is her name who checked us in. She displays unacceptable customer service sure didn’t not make us feel welcomed. Upon a couple of days of staying in my room, we found out this hotel doesn’t provide housekeeping services until your 14 th day of your stay🤮 That’s unacceptable. Shannon nor any other staff did not inform us on their policies that they have. We put our trash bin in the hallway, we seen other guests across from us do the same thing , and the next day the manager Omega knocked on our door and informed us that we can’t put trash bins in the hallway and handed us a paper with the policies listed such as where the dumpster is to throw away trash. We lived here during a time when we did not have a home to turn to. Omega and the staff at the hotel have all been welcoming and accommodating to our needs and we have always felt welcomed and taken care of. This hotel has been a blessing to us during an unstable time.
