Extended Stay America Select Suites- Omaha - Southwest

I was recommended this Extended Stay America location by the American Cancer Society while in town for a surgery. I am shocked that the American Cancer Society would recommend this location. From day one, the filth was beyond belief. The halls were covered in mud, and all common areas were extremely dirty. Our room only came with two towels and one roll of toilet paper, and requesting more was a major inconvenience. The office wasn't open on time, so we had to wait. It was very noisy, and the halls smelled like marijuana. This location is not suitable for cancer patients, and I highly recommend not staying at this location.

Positive: The staff was courteous and friendly.. Negative: The floor of my room was slanted..I had to turn my head of my bed around to sleep with my head upward... Hair was found in the sink and tub,, The room was very dusty. There was barking from the neighbors dog off and on the entire stay of 4 days..

Really enjoyed our stay despite certain employees. You get what you pay for, but what I find extremely concerning is the fact that our card got charged not once but TWICE for $351 when we haven’t been there for two sundays already. we called but they stated they had to “investigate.” which i find BS because in order to pay for the room they require a “signature” so tell me how it was possible that our card got charged???

Deceptive, lies told left and right, when employees make mistakes and mess things up on your account better bet your bottom dollar employee protected like an innocent baby while you are left to figure out how to fix it or be threatened to be removed due to employee error. All this for someone trying to ensure they are paid up until the date they booked to from the beginning and told by employees they paid till that date on check in for a week to go by be locked out and then told op sorry we misinformed you and you need to pay more for your stay. And be treated with hostility when asking what is going on. Yes by the second time you screwing us over yes we are now very frustrated and upset. Don't know how much clearer people can be if booked till a certain date and paying upon check in they
