Extended Stay America Select Suites- Gainesville - I-75

First the woman who checked us in was great and none of this is her fault. I made the reservation by phone so I could make it clear what I needed as I my plan was to stay here pre and post surgery so I could be close to the medical facilities. what I called there was nobody answering at the front desk and the call went to the central booking. That was my mistake, I should have called until I got someone at the hotel but really, that should not be necessary. I reserved a handicapped room, preferably on the first floor and informed them that I would be bringing a dog. They said that would be no problem and they could accommodate me. When I arrived the clerk informed me that the reservation was not made for a handicapped room and there were none available. She also said that there was nothing

Busy location, Service desk was nice. A very inexpensive hotel. It was very worn and used. I ask for a handicap room, the shower could hold a wheelchair but didn't look clean. For a one-night stay, it was enough.

There was no one there & the lobby door was locked with a note on the door saying to call on a phone for assistance. There was another person already using the phone so a women came & opened the door. She told me that i had to go use the phone too so she could get paid. So i called on the phone & customer service was just as confused as i was. The front desk lady was very rude & had a horrible attitude. Then she tells me that I have to pay another $10 to park my car. There is nothing stating that there is a $10 parking fee on top of the room rate & then a $100 deposit. I explained that to her & she said if I did not pay the $10 parking fee she would cancel my reservation & I would not be refunded or she would have my car towed. I have never been treated with such disrespect & then threaten

Positive: Tv Negative: After going to the 3rd room it was still dirty. They first put me in a room that was already occupied then the next one had stains all over the carpet and the 3rd had sticky floors

Me and my family have been here for some time now. An, let me say that the staff here as been the same amazing outgoing helpful people as they were when we first got here!! It's a very clean and spacious hotel. An it accommodates my entire family. Adults, teens, kids, and babies!! We are very comfortable here. If you are looking for a respectable area with helpful service's and comfort for the whole family THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! 😊🥰👋💯🤗 Ask for Mr. Chris or Mrs. Elain and they will get you and/or your family right.
