Extended Stay America Select Suites- Birmingham - Inverness

Woke up to phone calls, threatening me with police. Said I was smoking in room? I did not. Got to thinking about it. I do fire residential restoration. My dirty clothes smell of smoke and soot. Kicked me out??? Don't stay here. A clear stomping of American rights.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures that's on their website there's no breakfast no coffee I laid the front desk about 9:00 at night so you have no one there until 9:00 the next day you do a self checkout the rooms were nasty shower had to clean it before I could use it Saints in the bathroom had to clean the blood off of it before I could use it there was roaches in the sink in the kitchen refrigerator never got cold Grace on the walls

Hotel is not as pictured. No breakfast or elevator as listed. No pool as picture. Sofa bed had chewed arm down to wood in two locations. It was difficult to open, slides on laminate floor. The mattress pad was stained. Had to ask for bedding, blanket and towels. Unhinged door on tv cabinet. Room was worn down, esp shower, and felt very dirty. No kitchen supplies. Only good things were TV worked and people were nice but challenge to communicate with. Rating should be no more than a 2.

There is no breakfast or any coffee included in the stay but there are options next door at Dunkin or McD's. My lamp was broken up on check-in and the staff replaced it immediately. The a/c was so-so due to a very dirty filter but after I cleaned it out it was in well working condition. The staff is very helpful. Bob is the man. With the price you get from being a member of the rewards program, it's a nice stay. Smoking is in the back They never gave me my deposit. They said they refunded it but my bank says they did not.
