Evergreen Inn & Suites Portland Airport

Worst experience ever in my entire 69 years. Would have left but everything was full due to an ice storm and loss of electricity. The first room we were given didn't even have a working bathtub. Seriously? Next room things worked better. The especially worked for the cockroaches. Rough part of town, don't walk around by yourself in the dark. Scary looking patrons.

Do not book this property. We booked through Expedia, which displayed outdated photos that do not reflect the current condition or surroundings. The area felt unsafe, and the owners were extremely rude. Within about 15 minutes of arriving, I was met with hostility when asking to cancel my booking and receiving my security deposit back…my phone was literally thrown back at me. All because I asked for a photo confirming the return of my security deposit. Since the owner declared the printer was down and could not give me a copy. I did not feel safe staying there at all. While on the property, I witnessed a physical altercation and what appeared to be a drug deal. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place. We ended up staying at Candlewood Suites for only $20–$30 more, and it was absolute

Positive: This hotel has potential of being real nice but other than that "nothing" Negative: The staff were unpleasant. Treated us with instant disrespect...voice tones were angry and judgmental. Charge just for a incidental fee before checking in that we were not prepared or informed of. The room had dirty walls and cockroaches in the bed.

If I could I'd give this place 0 stars. If I had more money I wouldn't gone somewhere else but I used the last of my money in this place. The front desk lady was rude, and screamed at my partner for asking questions and saying she didn't have time to help her. Theres an additional 60 dollars you have to pay when you get here, they say it'll be refunded but only after we check out and it should take a week to get that back. There's also a pet fee that wasn't included in the price. And if you want to check in there's a 30 dollar early check in fee. The halls smell like chemicals. The rooms are not what is pictured. There wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed just a top sheet. There's a hole in the roof. To make it even better there's black mold in the shower, in the room and in the ac/heater unit

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Do not stay here if you have kids! I should have looked at the reviews before booking the room. That was my fault. The place is filled with druggies and the hallways smell like drugs. And to make it worse they use a ton of cleaning solution to mask that smell. So if you’re sensitive to Lysol, fabuloso smells you should avoid this place. The rooms are very basic and the bathrooms are old. The towels, pillow covers and sheets have stains. We couldn’t even use the showers. This whole place is a mess and the owners are the worst business owners ever. You will find better quality rooms at motel 6. Definitely regretting this place. They do not cancel once you book. They also charge a 60$ refundable deposit that they apparently will refund after check o
