Enzo Guest House

Enzo calls itself a guest house. Cute idea—except they seem to have forgotten the “guest” part. My wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary in P-Town, and Enzo was where we landed. The only good thing about it is location—if you don’t mind club music every night. Hospitality? Nonexistent. There’s no attendant, no concierge, no human presence at all. We locked ourselves out once and it took them three hours to send someone. At that point, we were practically contemplating sleeping on the sidewalk. The “continental breakfast” was their next trick: a few muffins and boiled eggs abandoned on a hallway table at 10 p.m. the night before. A coffee machine that didn’t work, and the coffee creamers? Great value for the price! Standard room with TV and spacious private bathroom. Clean with basic amenities. Can’t beat the location. Right in the heart of Ptown on Commercial Street above a restaurant. Luckily we are not light sleepers because the music can be loud at night but ends at a reasonable time. The fresh, hot muffins in the evening were a nice treat. And the bonus: free parking! All in all a very good stay. We would definitely come back again.

This was our first time staying here and we really enjoyed it. The room was small, but very functional and easy to use. The check-in process was quite simple and parking was plenty behind the establishment. By staying here, we were in the heart of everything, we could walk to anywhere we wanted to get a coffee a drink or food. The check-in process was simple and we would highly recommend it to anyone and would stay here again.

We arrived at Enzo and it took about ten seconds to check in, in fact there's no check in desk I mentioned my name to the hostess at the restaurant podium and was handed an envelope with two sets of keys. The room was small and it was clean, we didn't plan on spending much time in there anyway. The bathroom was also on the small side and again I couldn't fault it. The bed was comfortable along with pillows, the AC was cranking and very quiet, wifi was also good. I think for the price we paid the only thing I'd like to have experienced was a coffee / tea maker in the room and maybe a continental breakfast, not the end of the world I suppose but it woulda been a nice touch. We did not stay here on our visits to Provincetown. Wedid,however, dine there a few times. The food was good. The interior was a bit Victorian and I enjoyed it. The location was right on Commercial Street in the heart of town. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants and to the boat launch site for whale watching. Provincetown is a very cool place. The drive is a long distance from where I live. I usually stay 3 or 4 nights when we go there. We have probably been to Provincetown at least 10 times and will return again, soon, I hope.
