Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands® at Hughes Landing

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few months for medical appointments in Houston. It is a wonderful hotel. The staff at the front desk always greets us at sight and couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Housekeeping is excellent. The rooms are spotless. The best part of our stay is the breakfast buffet. The food is great with a wide variety of options. Ann the Hotel Lobby Ambassador has taken a personal interest in us and has made great efforts to make our stays most memorable. On my wife's birthday Ann gave her a large Birthday button which my wife wore all day. Ann also arranged for a gift of lovely food to be sent to our room. This made for a very special day. We plan to stay at this hotel for all of our future medical visits.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament, and Kenyon, the manager at the front desk, assisted us with check-in—he was very polite and welcoming. We were on the 4th floor, and as someone who usually wipes down rooms before unpacking, I was impressed. Usually, I can see dirt on the wipes—not to say anything bad, as housekeeping is a demanding job with a lot to do in a short amount of time—but the room was very clean. With nine floors in the hotel, the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The ladies I saw working were very friendly, and one day we even saw a staff member as we were walking out and he asked us how we were and was very joyfull.He was wiping down the walls and doors as we headed out. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Due to different flight schedules, a member of our group arrived earlier than expected... In brief: upon my arrival, the guest services representative explained the misunderstanding on behalf of the member who arrived early and immediately resolved the cc issue. Thank you Mr. Dezmeon for the quick resolution! Nonetheless, our stay was immaculate. The suites were incredibly spacious, comfortable, cozy and well-appointed. We really enjoyed the atrium lobby with free made-to-order breakfast each morning and complimentary drinks and snacks during our nightly evening reception. The location couldn't be in a more perfect area. You'll love being in the heart of Hughes Landing, a modern hub within "The Woodlands

We may have just went on a bad night. Their server was down and we weren’t able to get room keys. Once the server was back up and people were getting room keys, one of the front desk guys was giving attitude to our boss who reserved these rooms months in advance.. there was a big issue with them not allowing them to access our room keys to distribute them to us. Then they couldn’t remember what rooms they gave us and asked us to go try the keys. My coworker used his key and walked in his room to find the room was occupied. We stayed for two nights and our room key wouldn’t work every time we left the room. We had to go back down to the front desk to get a new key at least 4 times. The rooms were clean just a little out dated. I liked the complimentary drink service. The bar was always busy

Positive: Staff was top notch, breakfast is the best for an included option, location superb for the trolley stop to get to all the main parts of the Woodlands area as well as an assortment of food options to walk to. Self parking is convenient! Negative: Pool area fully exposed to sun after about noon but it's Texas so what do you expect?
