Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport

Place absolutely rocks for service, quality, shuttle, food, everything. Stayed her Thanksgiving 2024 very impressed by the attentive ess to our needs with children, pregnant wife, etc. completely on it not one problem. Got a pack and play up to the room and setup with sheets before we got up the elevator somehow, like magic? My boys love airplanes so the view of the runway was epic! Noise level was not an issue.

The Good: The hotel itself is nice and the atrium makes it feel quite resort-y.|Room (suite with 2 beds and a sofabed) was clean and comfortable but had only the very basics - and coffee only. I was travelling with 2 kids so some hot chocolate mix would have been a very welcome addition.|Breakfast was OK but the omelette station was superb.||The Bad: $75 pet fee?!! For what? I've never paid more than $25 and had a water bowl provided along with poop bags and treats. I got NOTHING. Hotels have realised that people travelling with pets have no choice and are clearly abusing it. |And, the car parking - OMG! They expect you to use a QR code and app. I had arrived at about 9.30pm after a 7hr+ drive and I was still trying to pay for parking at 10.45pm. I had to create TWO new accounts an

Positive: BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! Beautiful room! Clean, spacious; microwave, fridge, coffee maker; delicious breakfasts and evening receptions. Ample parking. Even though it?s right at airport the noise was minimal. Negative: $20 night for parking

Nice hotel that I have stayed at many times before usually on business trips. Right across the street from the airport and very close to any other place you may want to visit in the Portland area. I don’t write many reviews but in this case I felt it was well deserved. One of the evenings I was there we ate at the restaurant in the main lobby where we met our host and server Indir. He did such a great job and was very friendly and funny. Traits that you rarely find in customer service these days which is why I wanted to share my experience. Food and drinks were great. I will definitely be back. Thank you Indir!

Great location and service. Staff is really nice. Not five stars because the rooms are older and dated. Air-conditioning can’t keep up with the room. Not terrible but definitely feels like it’s 20 to 30 years old.
