Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green

We were traveling home to Illinois from Virginia and was ready to get some rest. I was so tired and booked online, I ended up booking for 3 days ahead of the night. When we get there to check in I showed the front desk person my confirmation and he stated oh that’s for 3 days ahead. I started crying. I was tired and ready to lay down. He immediately helped book us a room for right then and helped cancel the other booking! They have the best breakfast that is included! The rooms, it’s like a small studio apartment! The view was gorgeous! Opening the curtains in the morning to see a pond full of ducks! Definitely worth the money!

The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful! Cory, the breakfast cook, was so pleasant and made our eggs and add ins delicious. Cory also makes his pancakes from scratch! It was very cold outside but the hotel was warm and cozy and the staff made our stay great!

The lady at the desk, Armani, was SUPER sweet and very helpful. The hotel staff and conditions were/are excellent. I MUST make an addition to my review. The breakfast was phenomenal! I don't think I've EVER had a complimentary breakfast this good, anywhere. Pablo put out some EXCELENT food and Sheryll provided the best service. Sheryll greeted us with a sweet, jovial smile and was amazing to watch as she "served" the patrons. Secondly, maybe even the collest thing, when I went to the front desk this morning, the sweetest lady, Karlee, greeted me with a big, genuinely authentic smile. She was so helpful about my inquiries, answered all my questions, and then brightened my day even more. It turns out, that I actually built the house she grew up in, 250 miles away. Positive: The location is good Negative: The mattresses in the room are lumpy, sagging and impossible to sleep on. There was noise outside my room until midnight. In addition, I was overcharged $100 more for the nightly rate than the rate that the hotel posted on their website.

Super happy to have landed here for surgery at UK! We have kissed a few frogs closer to Shriner’s but this is a straight quick shot up Nicholasville Rd and you’re there! Easy peasy! The general manager and head chef (Mike and Mark) go all out in ensuring customers’ comfort and health! We are so appreciative we gave this hotel a chance! Sadly for us, we are frequent flyers to Shriners and UK Hospital, BUT we never have to worry about where we will stay again! It will always be at Embassy Suites Lexington Green!! Thanks so much!
