Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City Overland Park

Stayed here recently and had an excellent experience overall—the rooms were comfortable, clean, and the complimentary breakfast/happy hour were nice perks. But what really made our stay special was Ms. Murphy at the bar! She's an outstanding bartender—super friendly, attentive, mixes fantastic drinks, and has a great personality that makes you feel welcome right away. She did a tremendous job handling a busy crowd with smiles and top-notch service. If you're at the hotel, definitely stop by the bar and say hi to her—you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend this place, especially for the great staff like Ms. Murphy. We'll be back!"

The gift shop had legitimate food options for when we were stuck in a blizzard Negative: Due to the shape of the hotel, you can hear loud people laughing down at the bar from your room even if you're on the top floor like we were. They do have quiet hours however which is great

I thought that the hotel was clean, spacious, and staff were friendly. My room had a king bed and plenty of space with two televisions. One was in the bedroom and the other in the front room where there was a pullout sofa bed, sink , microwave and table.||The cleaning service came and cleaned the room and replenished snacks and water that came with my stay. Everyday house cleaning changed the bedding and replenished the snacks.||The hotel room door opens toward the center open space. ||The full breakfast was nice and had omelets cooked to order.

My husband and I checked into with Hector at the front desk for Valentine’s Day. Hector made the check in process quick and easy. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The rooms were great. A living room and bedroom separated both furnished with tvs. Everything was clean and well maintained. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge were tasty and an awesome perk. This place is unassuming from the outside, but the vibe on the inside is an all inclusive Mexico resort on the inside. The location is great as well. Near many restaurants. We chose the Cheesecake Factory which is less than 10 minutes away. It’s also close to the zoo. Which is about 20 minutes away. Overall, 10/10 would stay again.

I was once told this was the first Embassy but the rooms are all clean and all the equipment works. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is always good and the staff friendly and helpful and the cooked to order breakfast is on spot. But what makes this hotel Is the bar and it is like waking into you local Of years and this made possible by the staff and they make you feel so welcome, when you has a stressful day Murphy will go out of her way to to make you smile. But Murphy and Meredith are the best and the reason I go to the bar. I have stayed in a lot of Embassy and Hilton hotels and this one in Kansas is in my top 10 of the World.
