Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Park Central Area

We booked this hotel for the location to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and unfortunately it ended up being the worst Embassy Suites I’ve ever stayed at. To start with the positives, check-in was easy even though we arrived around midnight, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was free, underground, and convenient. However, the bartender was noticeably rude, which set a disappointing tone. The hotel is not in the best area. There were several unhoused encampments nearby along with low-budget weekly motels, which made the surroundings feel uncomfortable. The lobby initially looks decent from a distance, but once inside it’s clear the carpets are filthy and the furniture is extremely worn. Everything feels dated and poorly maintained. First off, I would stay here again. But…. There were things. |TV in living room did not work. It turned on but kept blinking out and back in. |Phone in living room did not work. Maintenance came and replaced it but the different did not work either. (Only needed it to call front desk so not that big of a problem.). |Parking was in an underground garage but striping was so bad cars parked rather randomly. |Breakfast was not up to their old standards. (Cooked to order was very good though). Temperature in breakfast area was very cold. |They seemed to be rationing bathroom linen. There were plenty of bath towels but only one hand towel and two face towels. ||Staff was very attentive and friendly!!!

Positive: Nothing Negative: Rooms are old and outdated. Front desk was clueless about breakfast hours. Toilet leaked. Could not control temperature from inside the room. I have stayed at motel 6 that are better than this hotel

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were immediately taken aback from the strong odor of Marijuana coming from the parking lot by the front entrance. The smell was also very strong in the parking garage area and the elevators. The room we requested had a king bed and a sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper needed fitted sheets, sheets and a blanket plus the pillow but the person at the front desk mentioned that they were out and didn’t have any. My son who has special needs slept on the sofa bed without any sheets. We had to give him some sheets from our bed along with a pillow. The hotel was also very noisy and kids kept running around all the time even during the early morning hours. This was My family’s and I first time at an Embassy suite, Hotel and we were very excited because they are usually very elegant and supposed to be great experience… HOWEVER… (First arrival) Front desk- When I went to check in the front desk Guy was not welcoming at all. Every time I asked a question, he would mumble his words , I would ask him to repeat himself because I could not hear him or understand him, and he literally rolled his eyes at me and made a heavy sigh. Pool experience- Me and my three kids went down to the pool at 9:10 PM, the pool closed at 10 PM so I knew we needed to be out before then. When me and my kids were about to get in the pool, the maintenance lady came in and she stood there for about 15 minutes just watching us, she mentioned about three times that they clo
