Embassy Suites by Hilton Birmingham

From start to finish not a good experience. Let me start by saying, front desk staff was very friendly and I’m sure none of this is any fault of theirs. First, our room was not secured upon entering. Door just opened right away without a key card. Seemingly very unsafe and unprofessional. Secondly, we booked this hotel for the pool and apparently there was some sort of event going on where there were tons of kids/teenagers in the hotel… we barely got to use the pool. It was loud, overcrowded, and unsafe at best. No order in the hotel or anyone enforcing any semblance of the sort. Teenagers running around and throwing their trash down all around the hotel and made our family feel very uncomfortable during our stay. Third, the stench of marijuana in the elevators and throughout the hotel was

Positive: Breakfast was good. Atrium was nice. Didn't get to take advantage of the "happy hour" offering because of a time conflict. Negative: Outside grounds had a fair amount of trash in landscaping. At least one of the landscaping path lights was broken off at the base. The room was configured nice, but the AC blows continuously and blows right on the bed. Couldn't adjust direction.

Its nice and roomy. Beautiful koi fish in lobby. Nice indoor pool. Awesome view from our tiny balcony lol. We would stay again if over night in Birmingham in the future.

It was a good checkin with no hiccups.My room was ready and cleanThe managers reception had a quality offering and the breakfast was also great. There was a lot of people but the service was organized. Overall great stay !

Loved staying here. The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived late and the wonderful guy at Ruth Chris helped us out big time with a spot at the bar so we could eat bc they were booked with reservations.
