Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great FREE breakfast. My mom and I stay always here when having to stay overnight in Omaha. We do wish there was some sort of discount for hospital stays, we’re never staying here on vacation. One of the reasons we do like it so much is because of how close it is to UNMC. That being said, they now unfortunately charge an additional $15.00 a night for overnight parking - this is new than from when we stayed here last. The parking garage is used by the public who are attending the restaurants and shops nearby which again I wish there was a discount for hotel stays as this is literally the only option of parking. I had also requested on my online reservation for a room close to the elevator & foam pillows and we got neither. I didn’t bring it to the managers at
I stay at this hotel probably every other week. With that, as with this place becoming more of a second home and me seeing both the good and not so great rooms, my stays have been somewhat up and down depending on the room and the travel season. I appreciate the friendliness of the front desk staff. Even the night audits are friendly on check in. However, my status with Marriott has never been acknowledged. It took me three stays to realize that they don’t give the two free waters to everyone. The rooms are modern, however some rooms in the hotel are less than ideally maintained. The shower pressure and temperature is 95% adequate, but some rooms have you praying for water pressure like you’re praying for rain in the Arizona desert. I hate staying here in the summer months, I didn’t de
Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside is the stupid thermostats are the energy efficient Daiken kind. To change between heat and cool you actually have to call the front desk I kid you not. I woke up sweating to death at 3am and called down without getting an answer. Called back 5 minutes later and got an answer, but for the love of all that is holy seriously? This is the 21st century and I have to call to change my climate control settings? My stay was great until my nights sleep got so rudely interrupted. Then it took a bit to cool down so overall I slept like crap. It’s a shame because with the exception of a bad night sleep the place is beautiful and overall great, but the primary reason for a hotel is sleep and it was miserable so it’s hard to recommend. I guess just make sure
Positive: Staff was amazing. I loved that it had a little kitchen area. I came back to fresh sheets and a neatly made bed every day. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was an easy five drive to get to the downtown and Old Market. Great experience here. Negative: ""
To be honest, this hotel did not live up to the Marriott Bonvoy standard that I've come to expect from their properties. |The hotel seems tired, with most of the surfaces in the rooms displaying years of wear and tear.|Our first room didn't have a working air conditioner, only a temporary window unit. And no phone. |We were moved to a different room once it was brought to the hotel's attention however, the new room had no control over the climate controls. Air conditioning was either high or low. The room was always cold. |$15 a night for parking on-site while the automatic garage gate was stuck open seemed more like a suggestion, we witnessed several cars simply drive through the open exit gate. |We booked a second room for my wife's family and they were made to wait in our room until 3 p
