Edgewater Beach Inn

Our local family was looking forward to a relaxing staycation. The property’s location is a definite highlight it’s close to the beach and many great restaurants, and we loved being able to walk everywhere. The garden area is beautifully maintained, with lush grass and plants, and the outdoor spaces were very clean. The grounds crew was superb and friendly, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our room left something to be desired. The kitchen dishes were dirty, and I had to wash each one before using it. The microwave was also covered in food inside. Situations like this make you wonder what else may not have been properly cleaned or sanitized. When we notified staff, they blamed housekeeping, which felt a bit awkward, though we were grateful that the front desk staff stepped in to

This is a very nice Inn in Santa Cruz for a solo traveler, or for families. The room was spacious, orderly, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Inn is right near the beach, and the large pier there has lots of shops and restaurants. Just be aware that the Inn has NO air conditioning in the rooms. As I arrived, rhe room was rather stuffy and warm, and I found out later it only has a fan available for the system. My stay was in early October, so after opening the windows for a time, my room cooled down. In spite of this, I would recommend the Edgewater Beach Inn for your stay!

No complaints!! Great service!! Excellent location with beautiful view. Quiet, peaceful, intimate. Fireplace and AC unit worked perfect and there even was a portable heater in the room just in case you got too cold.Full kitchen,a spa tub and very comfortable bed. Will be coming back!!! Thanks!

Enjoyed our stay there. Loved the fact we were right on the beach. Staff was friendly and the room was nice. TV was to small and we had an issue trying to turn on the ac. Didn't like the fact that the workmen were scraping the walls outside while we We're still sleeping and had debris on the stairs while we were trying to go in and out the room. Didn't get to use the hot tub because it was always occupied. Other than that we enjoyed it.
