Econo Lodge Sturbridge Route 20

Absolutely the best hotel hospitality service around! All staff are beyond nice with great attitudes! Theyre good prices and we've been staying here about a month now no complaints at all. My cats are loving it here constantly running around and playing. It's a very nice welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for a long term stay.

We always stayed at Econo Lodge and liked it very much there. I reserved our room for 2 nights according to the picture offered . King bed, sofa , fridge, microwave. Upon going into the room ( we have had that room before ) there wasn’t a sofa . King bed microwave, fridge and 1 computer chair for 2 people. Mattress also needs to be replaced. I complained the next morning , said they ordered a new sofa , but it wasn’t there yet .and they did offer a room with a double bed. Not what we wanted. We left for the day to visit our daughter at her home and when we returned , we opened the door . There was another computer chair as promised, but the bed wasn’t made, trash not emptied and no clean towels got that night or next morning. I paid the same price as on line with no compensation at all. We

Hotel could have a much better breakfast and the rooms are “tired”. They could use some updating. The price value is ok. The bed is ok, maybe a tad hard. The setting around the hotel is very nice and very quiet. Annie’s has a great breakfast.

Positive: The room was large enough and clean. The location was great. Negative: The staff wasn't helpful. They don't keep conducive hours for an in-person checkout. The supposed breakfast included was next to nothing, cold, and yes, stale. The bed was as hard as a rock. The toilet was way too short/low. It was there for midgets only.

I was looking for a room for one night a few days before a wedding reception in Sturbridge. I was pleasantly surprised that this lodge was a few minutes' walk from the venue (the Barn at Wight Farm). The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The room we got with a king bed was comfy, old-school kind of feel. There is breakfast at the check-in area in the morning. We would stay here again.
