Econo Lodge Richmond Hill

Nice no frills budget hotel. My room was clean and has a fridge and microwave, a nice comfy couch and a desk to do some work. Check in was quick and friendly, and there are lots of things nearby. If you are in need of cheap, clean and convenient then this is the place.

The lobby of this hotel was closed and there was no coffee or any kind of breakfast available in the morning. The room was clean, but there was only one lamp and a light next to the bed so the room was dark even with both lights on. In addition, the towels provided were not white although they did smell like bleach, so they may have been cleaned but obviously were pretty old and should be replaced. Price was cheap, so I guess I got what I paid for.

Positive: It was a place to stay for a night. Nothing more. Negative: There were roaches in the sink, the hotel needs a serious update

First room provided was not prepared, bed linens were used and not made. Second room was infested with cockroaches as I assume the entire building is. Also the towels were stained and the sink and tub had very slow drains. How this place got 3.5 stars on google I’ll never know. Should be a negative 3. I’ll make sure to leave the same review there.

This motel should really be looked into, but I guess you get what you pay for. They advertise breakfast is included. Looking at other reviews, they haven’t offered breakfast in 2+ years. The towels and wash cloths are dingy, and the people at the front desk are rude as hell! Not to mention the tv kept going in and out with lines going through it. I stayed one night, then went to the Best Western across the street!
