SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Richmond Hill

My wife and I stayed here on 2/27/2026. Room was nice, clean and modern, however about half of the USB charging outlets did not work. We were placed in room 401, which we later discovered overlooked active railroad tracks. Trains were frequently up and down those tracks all night long with noise levels so high our beds shook. We got less than 4 hours sleep while facing a long next day drive. If you want to stay here, be sure to ask for a front room away from the tracks, or better yet stay somewhere else.

This hotel was discovered by accident, but I'm glad that I have found it. I have been coming to this hotel for work this past few weeks. It offers modern decor and very comfortable beds. I love the workout room, as it helps to keep me in shape during my travels. Besides the standard hotel amenities, the standout at this property is its staff, specifically Sophia. She absolutely rocks!||My only knock on this property is the breakfast as of late. I dont know if there is a change in the breakfast staff or what, but it has not been consistent lately. When it is available, it is a GREAT way to start the day.||I highly recommend this property if you are in the area.

Positive: The Lady who helped check me in was awesome . Negative: The ownership , they like over charging for this hotel. Asked to have my date moved because my son was not able to be picked up from his school as scheduled. I asked for a refund then asked to have it moved. The nice lady called the owner and said no.

First the good, the staff is amazing and friendly! The rooms are spacious and clean. But wow, the train made our stay miserable. Perhaps the rooms on the opposite side of the hall away from the rail lines offers a better night sleep but unfortunately the side with the rail lines was the worst sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel. We arrived around 10:30pm. Front desk staff was kind and informed of the train and the fact there was no schedule. Having previously lived close to an active rail line I was not concerned. I was wrong. From 11pm to 3am there were trains coming through hourly. One jerk engineer at 1am felt compelled to blow his horn while passing even though there is not a crossing. We got a flat tire and made a last minute reservation here. Taela the manager was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is only 3 years old and looks new and nice. Rooms are small but efficient! Late checkout was granted as we dealt with our car. Outdoor pool not open in January and gym lacked any stationary bikes and both ellipticals not working as only complaints. Nice breakfast spread and outdoor smoking area with seating.
