Econo Lodge Portland Airport

The room had black mold. There was holes in the ceiling. Not airflow, this condensation builds up on the door,the ac/heater unit , and refrigerator. The location is very bad. No more continental breakfast or even acces to lobby. Towels are not completely clean.The water in the hot tub was green. Calls to your phone from somewhere outside of the building with no reason. Smelled like dogs in side of the room. I have pictures. Ask for a refund was told not possible. Been going here for the last 10 years for staycations will never book here again.

Both the employees I met were fantastic. Super welcoming, helpful and they made both check in and check out easy and stress-free. The room itself, though, was not the cleanest. I found crumbs and dirt in the closet and on the counters, the bathroom towels had black and yellow stains, and the comforter had cigarette burn holes. Likely won’t stay here again.

It's a great hotel close to the airport, the price reflects this. There's also easy freeway access, and Sandy boulevard has multiple Lanes right here, so it's easy to come and go. There are lots of Good eats nearby. The staff here is very nice and extremely helpful

We arrived around 10pm and the lobby was locked when we got there. We had to go to a little window on the side of the building to check in but the lady at the desk was kind and helpful. The room was dirty. Holes and stains on the bedding. Scratches and stains in the shower. Tufts of hair sticking out of the blowdryer on the wall. Stains and patches on the walls in the room. Door didn't close all the way and had to be forced to lock. You could hear everything outside and there was a little dog barking all night. No spa access or breakfast but still advertised online. We've stayed at some cheap placed but this was really something else. Would not recommend which is unfortunate because of the proximity to PDX.

Positive: Location would have been convenient - close to the airport, near the MAX red line. However, I ended up not staying here because of general sketchiness and drug usage in the parking lot, so kind of a moot point. Negative: Not a good place at all! People were milling around in the parking lot and from room to room. There were seriously people doing drugs in the parking lot. Not cool. I left and forfeited my reservation.
