Econo Lodge Glens Falls / Lake George

The room was very clean and well stocked with lots of towels and washcloths, shampoo, soap and conditioner. The refrigerator is large and capable of holding quite a bit including milk, iced coffee, water... Whatever you need it to. Convenient location to the thruway, Lake George, Glens falls and Siena College.

It was just really dingy. The floors creaked. The carpet on the stairs was dirty and needed vacuuming and replacing. Walls/doors were thin and allowed bits of noise from other rooms and the hall. The WiFi didn’t work consistently. Would never stay there again.

I stayed near Lake George and booked this hotel because it advertised a pool, but the pool no longer exists. Our first room, 103, had no sign and was right next to very noisy kids—we could hear everything through the connecting door. We asked to switch and got a second-floor corner room, which we liked much better. In both rooms, the AC was off when we arrived, so it took a while to cool down. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I just hope they update their advertising so it’s accurate, and make the parking lot layout clearer, as it was confusing and seemed to connect to another motel.

People tend to throw shade of Econo Lodges and Quality Inn and I have to admit, I was a little hesitant at first. We booked this property because we recently adopted a Beagle and didn't want to leave her with relatives, and the price as too low to pass up. When we arrived I was a little hesitant because some of the trappings had Econo Lodge on the covers and I thought "oh no, what did we get ourselves into?" I expected the worse, Boy was I WRONG! I can't say enough good things about the Staff, the Room or the Property! The Staff was courteous, friendly and polite! The room was clean and not 'worn out', the location was close to the highway, restaurants, shopping and attractions. There was coffee, juices and mini muffins for breakfast in the lobby, even during the waning of COVID. The room

Was a great stay!!!! The pet charge is a little steep, and the maids don't clean very well... Sorry but it's true. I bring my own cleaning supplies so I took care of it. Otherwise was a Great stay. Laura was very sweet.
