Econo Lodge Fredericksburg near I-95

The time I spent here was very quiet, clean. and has a courteous staff. Sam was especially helpful. Housekeeping is pleasant. I habe not seen any roaches, bed bugs, mice. or another pests. There is no mold in sight and the rooms dont smell unpleasant. It is worth the money and if you go here and mind your business, stay focused on your goals and plans. and want peace then stop on in. Theres only 2 hotels worth staying in on that end at this is one of them. When the snow came they had us plowed out as soon as they could and did a great job. Thanks.

The people there were very nice and did everything we needed when we asked for help. The only thing we did not like was when we were on our way home from New York and stopped there they would not give us the lower price with my girlfriends code number because we did not make reservations. It was a spur of the moment decision not knowing we were going to stop, but picked Econo Lodge to stay because we like it so much. It would be nice if You could reimburse us some of the money.

We booked a late night room on the way north from Florida. Advertised as pet friendly. No refunds noted when booking because of the lateness. Despite 2x mentioning we needed a pet friendly room, booking the non refundable room with a cc ( not an issue- we needed the room and advertised as pet friendly), when we arrived at 11pm, the desk clerk said they don’t accept pets, no exception and it was was no refund😡|We called Econolodge twice they next day and finally were told we would be able to receive a refund- 4 weeks later no refund and we’re still calling.

Problem with this place. If you wanna take a hot shower good luck. You’ll only get luke warm water. The staff are a bit rude and unprofessional. A friend of mine was interrupted by a staff member barging into her room. While she was asleep and waking her up. Very rude and unprofessional people. Not worth staying.

Rating this motel with one star feels overly generous. We chose to stop here for a quick sleep during our road trip, unaware of how unsafe the area was. Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed bedbugs stuck in the Velcro of the mattress. We immediately left, 3 minutes MAX, and informed the office about the situation. The clerk initially stated he could only offer us another room, as he didn't provide refunds. However, when I mentioned my profession and explained my understanding of how bedbugs work, he agreed to issue a refund. While we were credited, two days later, an additional night charge appeared on our bank statement, which we now have to dispute. You're better off sleeping in your car, as we did - in a safer area.
