Econo Lodge Austin North near The Domain

The rooms are very nice and clean and very roomy. A lot of space for your things without being all in the way. And the staff, it seems these days everywhere you go everyone is so rude and hateful. Not these people they were so nice and kind. Definitely would recommend staying here 5 stars all the way.

So, I wasnt able to rent a room, the male person was so rude. I first walked into the office rang and rang the buzzer no one came so I stepped out and went to the man who was already yelling, "hey YOU."YOU GOT room No." I SAID, I'm trying to get one. NO... He said. I said didn't you just see me walk out of you office? He just speed dialed the police... Just absoulty shocking how rude this employee was. Better wear a suit and tie or suffer being profiled as. Worthless from across the parkeng lot, I'm seeking treatment at the VA and needed a room.I have cash. It won't be long before it goes under or is put under new manage.ent. I was offended, I felt like a stray dog I think I should get an apology in the form of a complementary night somewhere else.

The towels were very worn out. There were tears in the sheets of the bed. Looked like some sort of red splatter on the ceiling and black stains in the bathroom ceiling. The mattress was super worn out, even had a massive indention in the middle. You could hear the springs every time you moved or sat on the bed. The TV channels were not working and the door was missing the extra safety lock. The desk chair was super worn.Nonetheless the AC/Heater worked, there was a running microwave and fridge. It did the job!

Terrible location. Place needs landscaping and refresh exterior. Sun room glass panels need repair and replacement. The place feels old and in need of some one who cares. The room was fine. But the toilet seat was loose. The patch repair on holes in the walls was not well done. The mattress needs replacement. Worn out and uncomfortable. The Continental breakfast was one coffee choice out to two. The 2nd choice was broken. No milk, no juice. No bananas or oranges. One sad little Danish in a wrapper. No muffins of any kind. They did have sausage patties and they were tasty. Also offered waffle iron with a nice batter and syrup. But it looked sparse and unwelcoming. Would not recommend. During business hours they keep the front door locked due to homeless people walking around the area. Acros

Great Staff- very friendly and knowledgeable of area. Room was great for price and no parking fee! Breakfast was minimal - no juice -BUT they did have Coffee, Sausage, and Waffles to make - to me was just perfect. Also Loved the location- plenty of restaurants to choose and just 15 minutes from where I needed to go.
