Echo Shores Resort

I rented a cabin for the Ely half marathon. It was so convenient as the race started right at the end of their driveway. Our lil cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed. We heard good things about the lake it is on, but we ran out of time & never got out on the water. We can hardly wait to go back next year. Amy & Pat were super helpful & very friendly.

This was our first trip to Echo Shores Resort and we couldn't be more pleased. This is a perfect place to fish and enjoy the beauty of Minnesota. Amy and Pat were wonderful hosts who gave us just the right amount of attention. The Bear Den was impressively clean with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking up those walleye! We loved the family-friendly atmosphere that guests enjoyed at the sandy beach and nightly bonfires. Fabulous vacation!

We stayed at Echo Shores twice this summer. Once at the end of May and then again at the end of July. Both stays were great and I can't speak highly enough about the Owners, Pat & Amy and their kids Hunter, Arrow, and Blaze. Extremely accommodating and helpful to any needs. The lake access is great, the water is so clear, and we caught a ton of smallmouth bass. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 days and had a blast fishing and swimming from it on Little Long Lake. The cabins are perfect for the price. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and everything we need to cook and eat our meals at the cabin and it was a very comfortable space for me and my wife along with our two boys (6, 9). If you're looking for a luxury stay though, this is probably not for you. Echo Shores Resort is also just

We were looking for a pet-friendly resort for a low-key vacation in Ely area. Amy and Pat were wonderful to work with - especially arriving later at night. Amy gave us a quick tour of our cabin and made sure to let us know if we needed anything to just let them know. We did several hikes nearby including to the little falls with the pool of water to relax and cool off in before hiking back. We also took the canoe out a couple times with our English setter puppies and met wonderful neighbor guests who were there on a family fishing trip. Cabins were clean with newer appliances and were nicely decorated. Very close to Ely so we were able to explore in town as well. Enjoyed meeting Amy & Pat's sons as well and watching the older one help clean cabins on Saturday as we were leaving. Than

Amy and Pat could not have been more accommodating as hosts, ( Pat went fishing so we could have fresh fish for dinner!! ) It was the perfect place - just what we were looking for to enjoy some outdoor activities - canoe, kayak, paddle boats and pontoons are all available for the guests. Biking and hiking are also nearby - Amy gave us several suggestions for doing both. The two bedroom cabin was clean and roomy enough for the two of us. We loved having the Weber grill right outside the door to make evening meals. Listening to the loons on the lake and watching two bald eagles from the shore were wonderful experiences.
