Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains

We stayed at Eagle Ridge Resort over MLK weekend as a family of four with two children (ages 8 and 11). While the unit was large and generally clean, the overall experience was disappointing due to safety concerns, dated conditions, and lack of communication. In winter conditions, basic safety was lacking. The walkway and steps to our unit were not shoveled, allowing snow and ice to build up and creating very slippery conditions, especially in ski boots. The unit itself felt very dated and worn, with paint scuffs and chipping, a large stain on the carpet, outdated track lighting, and insufficient lamps. The old thermostats did not work properly, leaving the room uncomfortably hot with no way to adjust the temperature. The sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable, even by sofa-bed standar

Its unfortunate that it took one person at this resort to ruin the entire experience. We initially had a great time until our wifi went out. We asked for someone to come and fix it, but they said that they wouldn't send someone out to fix it and that we had to "deal with it". Considering that their tvs needed internet to operate, we had no access to the amenities in our room that we paid for. No compensation was offered and when we asked for something to make up for the issue, they told us that they would not offer us anything and that its normal for the customer to get "shafted" here. I am sorry, but when you work in hospitality, you have one job, be hospitable. Treat people with respect and kindness. I am never coming back here again and I urge you to look for other accommodations if you

My Fiance and I decided to do a trip to the north shore of MN for our Mini-moon. The area was pretty, definitely not a good place for a getaway after your wedding but maybe with some friends. We booked with Eagle Ridge in Lutsen for the week. I actually found out about Eagle Ridge because of some YouTubers I watch and it looked like a great place, we QUICKLY found out it was not that great. First off our room had a lot of bugs, the water pressure in the shower was also horrible. The heat in our room did not work and the room did not look like it was cleaned super well. We knew it wouldn’t be perfect but we were expecting more for the price we paid. The hot tub was nice however it wasn’t “hot” it was lukewarm. Booked a trailside fireplace studio. It’s on the bottom floor. The bed was so uncomfortable, it was super springy and we woke up aching from the bed every morning. We could also hear the people walking above us until 2am and their music at 7am. So the floors and walls are extremely thin, I’d suggest bringing ear plugs or a sound machine. Building E is not exactly ski in ski out since you have to walk to the trail.|Nothing to do in the area after 4:30 so I recommend bringing board games.|The one positive thing about this place was the workers. They were all so friendly and helpful.

Just got done staying at Eagle Ridge Resort and have mixed thoughts. The staff were easy to work with but the room itself had some of the most uncomfortable furniture I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The couch / pull out bed had bars with big gaps so sitting on it was extremely uncomfortable. Also very thin walls being able to hear people walking by the room all night. View was very nice with the Poplar River visible from our balcony. Probably won’t be staying at this particular resort again at Lutsen Mountains.
