Drury Inn & Suites Kansas City Independence

My family and I stayed here with several other family members to attend a funeral, both of us were at the hotel for three nights. I have to be honest and say, I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the low price. I was absolutely blown away at how nice this hotel was and more importantly how friendly and nice the employees were. I’m not just talking about the front desk employees I’m talking about the maintenance person and the people working in the restaurant and the people working at the breakfast buffet, every person we talk to with absolutely delightful. It is clear that this place is well run and the management has built an amazing culture. There is no way that people are that happy and friendly at work unless are being treated well. Great staff, food and drinks can’t be beat! We knew breakfast was included but they also had an evening happy hour that was phenomenal! We ate dinner there every night. The pool and hot tub were great. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. We’re now Drury fans for life!

We booked this Hotel because we had tickets to a Kansas City Chiefs game and it was close to the stadium.EVERYONE at this Hotel was Super Nice and Friendly!! We will Definitely stay here again!!!Janet Cain

Steven and staff were very accommodating. Other staff were very friendly and even say hello to you! This location is always very clean and quiet despite the close proximity to Interstate Highway. The breakfast is 10/10 fantastic at this location.

Nice place , clean rooms . The air never got that cool . The pool was nice but super packed with a hockey tournament filled with of crazy wild unsupervised kids . The staff was so friendly- Trisha was AMAZING! So sweet !!! The free dinner with drinks and breakfast was a hit !
