Days Inn by Wyndham Blue Springs

This location shpuld only be stayed at if you are tired and really need sleep. It wasn't too fay off the interstate so I thought I would take a chance. The surfaces in the room were not wiped from the previous guest or maybe several guests before that. It is obvious that the property owner either can't or won't maintain a clean environment. This is evident in the lobby as well. The room smelled bad. One interesting thing is the shower. It is a fully enclosed plastic shower that has to be installed then the sheetrock is installed. Never seen anything like it.

I only stayed one night. The front desk associate was very friendly and got me into my room quickly. |Although this is an older hotel and has had a face lift in areas and not so much in others, it was still clean and functionable for my needs. |Bed was soft, pillows were great and the air blew cold. |The only aspect of this Days Inn is the quality of their breakfast. It consisted of tiny little muffins, which weren't very many and when asked about more he said that was all they had. It also consisted of toast and cold cereal and that's it. Nothing more. Oh and coffee.|There's no coffee pots in the rooms either.|I ended up eating somewhere else. ||If you're looking for just a place to lay your head and aren't expecting any other amenities, then this place is better than other places in this

Positive: The location Negative: When we arrived the staff at the desk was very distraught. Someone had used the bathroom in the hallway near the front desk. The air was not turned on in the room when we arrived on a day that was 100 degrees. It took several hours to cool off.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I travel A lot for work with my kids and they always ensure to put me on the first floor ( it’s easier with the kiddos) it’s quiet and always clean. The cleaning lady always asks if I’m staying for multiple days if i need Anything. Shower is hot and the beds are comfortable.

Nice area,there's a Mexican restaurant next door. Rooms were also nice and I had a walk in shower. There was upgraded lights in my room,and everything was clean. The breakfast could be better,but id rather have a nice room lol.
