Drury Inn & Suites Austin North

I've stayed here a handful of times for business now and I really enjoy this place! The staff are so friendly and attentive, the rooms are nice, roomy but cozy and nicely updated. The suites I've stayed in have a nice separation of living and sleeping space, along with a small sink, microwave and mini fridge. I will say the fridges haven't been super cold, but that hasn't been an issue for me yet. The location is great with several restaurant options nearby. The evening buffet style meal and happy hour are excellent! One of my favorite hotels to stay at so far in the area.

Positive: The hotel was clean and plenty of free gated parking. The food buffet was a plus for breakfast and dinner, also included 3 drinks from the Kickback bar you can't beat that! I enjoyed my stay and I have no complaints. Negative: ""

The layout is perfect for creating spaces for work, relaxation, etc. The location was perfect, not too far into the city but close enough to food options, etc. The room was perfect siz, felt very cozy but also afforded room for separation between work, pleasure, sleep and relaxation. The value was excellent for everything you get. Surprisingly the noise level was fine, even with construction happening inside the hotel. I didn't interact much with staff but when I did, they were polite and helpful. Looking forward to checking out the pool and gym area next time.

All basics were met: clean room, hot & cold water and a (mostly) functional HVAC (see below for more details), plus free gated parking. Breakfast buffet was slightly better than typical of the chains at this price-point. Staff was OUTSTANDING (we've found this to be true at most Drury's hotels)! Special thanks to Wendy at check-in, a shout-out to the super-friendly Jack (who was subbing in at the 5:30 Kickback bar) and an EXTRA special thanks to Michelle at check-out. A major construction/renovation is on-going, but it did not have much of an effect on our stay. We were in the back building facing away from traffic (so pretty quiet) in a room that was dated, but clean and well kept. We had one minor issue: the AC made an awful screeching noise on 2 occasions in the middle of the nigh

Great location - easy access. Great price for Austin. Currently, some parts of hotel are under construction, so this is not the place if you want to sleep late. The room I stayed in felt dark and dated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom towels were okay - not very plush. We slept late so did not try the free breakfast. It IS within walking distance to Pappasito's!!!
