I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront and had a very pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, offering an atmosphere right on the water. The Highlights: • The Views: My room was spotless and featured an outstanding view of the water—definitely a highlight of the stay. • The Staff: Every team member I encountered was professional, friendly, and genuinely courteous. One Recommendation: My only suggestion for improvement regards the morning coffee. For guests who just want a quick cup of coffee to go, it feels a bit much to be charged for a small cup in the restaurant. While there is a vending machine option, I think offering a complimentary "grab-and-go" coffee station for guests would be a great touch to match the high level of service found elsewhere in

The hotel itself was dirty as it was under construction. I wished I would have known ahead of my visit. The view was beautiful and the walking path across the street along the water was a daily pleasure. I only know about it from the the front desk employee named Roy. He was always there to greet you with a bottle of cold water and a smile. He was an absolute 5 on the scale, while the hotel was a 3 at best. The restaurant was very convenient and I enjoyed both dinners while I would skip the breakfast buffet next time. It's a better value to order a breakfast meal off the menu. Positive: Great location, close to Tampa and Safety Harbor. Beaches within walking distance. Parking is free as long as you scan your room key. Restaurants close by. Negative: Breakfast buffet was 22 dollars a person- way overpriced for the food you get. Should be a free continental breakfast option for guests.

We stayed her for 2 nights. It's an amazing place. Clean, modern rooms. Nice heated pool and the patio is so relaxing to hang out in the evenings. We had breakfast at those restaurant..they had nice buffet and made delicious omelettes. Our server and hostess Sandy was the best..she took such good care of us and was very sweet. The little convenience store in the lobby is well stocked with yummy treats for late night cravings ..they even have a microwave. The most amazing part was the location it's under 10 minutes form the airport would definitely recommend this place whether you are travelling for work or pleasure. Would definitely stay here again.
