DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Southwest

Recently stayed at the DoubleTree Omaha Southwest and overall it was a standard hotel experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything functioned as expected. The staff was pleasant and check-in was smooth. That said, the lobby felt a bit underwhelming and could definitely use an update to create a more welcoming first impression. It wasn’t a bad stay by any means, just fairly average. Solid option if you need something convenient, but not particularly memorable. It met expectations for a quick work trip.

They were ok overall. Thr room was fine— looking at a parking lot. The thing I found strange was that they kept forgetting to clean my room even when I asked for it. I went three days without it being cleaned. The two of the staff at the front desk were on the unprofessional and rude side. I also found a strange $50 charge to my credit card after checking out without an explanation. The gym was leaking water from the sealing and the floor was wet. The pool was so chlorinated that it burned my eyes. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Positive: Room was nice and a good size. They cleaned the room everyday. Negative: Only one working elevator. The staff was not very accommodating the last day. May people up and leaving for airport and no coffee at 5:00 am. Also no airport shuttle.

Have stayed with this location multiple times over the years and is always consistent, this time was different. The rooms are clean and amenities are always up to standard. Cameron showed premiere customer service and tended to my request promptly with a smile.

We visit Omaha frequently and we have stayed at this hotel dozens of times. It keeps getting worse every time. The rooms get dirtier and dirtier every time and the service is going downhill fast. Recently I booked thru the Hilton app, checked in on the app and requested a late checkout for 2pm, it cost me an extra $6. When we got the hotel my “check in on the app” didn’t work and the best they could do for me was a 12pm check out time. Based on the parking lot, they weren’t anywhere near full capacity. We took the 12pm check out time. The next morning housekeeping knocked on our door at 8am!!!! Also I went to the front desk to get a couple more comforters for the pull out bed and I was told they don’t give out extras. There should be enough in the room to make us comfortable. This is ri
