DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sterling - Dulles Airport

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sterling. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional from the moment I arrived, and the warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in was such a nice touch. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the convenient location, with easy access to nearby restaurants and major roads. Overall, everything—from service to cleanliness to comfort—exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

An exceptional airport hotel experience from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the terminal, yet the atmosphere inside feels calm, quiet, and refined. The rooms are modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable, perfect for resting before or after a flight. The beds are luxurious, every detail is thoughtfully designed for travelers. Check-in was seamless, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the service overall was outstanding. Here is our context: Diamond members (7 years) who have travelled the world staying in a range of Hilton brands. Since staying at Doubletree Sterling-Dulles in late October, we have stayed in a number of USA Hiltons, so are able to compare. Here are our views on Double-Tree by Hilton Sterling-Dulles.||Staff |Reception is understaffed but the staff who are there are hard workers and were friendly and helpful. Bar and dining staff friendly and willing.||Bed|Spotlessly clean and comfortable.||Room|Clean . Good size (King bed) Dated furniture and fittings. Everything worked. No traffic noise.||Internal decor and public area furniture|Shabby and most certainly in need of renovation.||Breakfast|Typical USA food. Not the quality and choice of overseas Double Trees, but same as offering in

Positive: The front desk employees were polite and helpful Negative: The carpet was very worn and dirty, the woo furniture was scratched up, the hairdryer felt Sticky and overall needed updated to be a 4 star.

As part of a scheduled business event in the area we booked this specific hotel due to its proximity to our contractors offices. We were welcomed by the staff professionally and our luggage was in immediately tended to. Rooms were clean and serviced everyday. Breakfast bar was clean and plenty of options were served. The lovely hotel manager Ms. Hatice answered our questions, advised us on the local resources and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with our stay.
