DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Springfield

We really enjoyed our stay overall! There is plenty of parking, but if you drive a truck, it can feel like a tight squeeze. You can still get around just fine — just something to be aware of. When you walk into the lobby, the temperature is perfect and it feels big and open. I love the seating areas — there are several spots where you can just sit, chat, and relax. It’s pretty quiet too, which makes it even nicer. The rooms are really pretty and comfortable. During our stay, one side of the elevator was down, but it seemed like they were just doing maintenance, so it wasn’t a big deal. It’s also super convenient that you can access Houlihan's directly from the lobby. Great idea for people to have a few drinks at the bar and not have to drive anywhere ! That was a cool bonus. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of power outlets and USB ports made charging all my devices effortless. The on-site bar & grill was perfect for dinner — excellent food and genuinely friendly service. Breakfast is served in the adjoining restaurant with a generous buffet and a made-to-order omelet station. The food was tasty, the staff were attentive, and there are TVs to catch the news… though I could have done without CNN playing on both screens! Overall, a really pleasant stay with great hospitality.

We spent 2 nights here recently and found it to be convenient, clean, relatively new, and very nice. We were comfortable and slept well. I would certainly stay here again. As a bonus, there is a Houlihan's restaurant at one corner of the property that can be accessed from inside the hotel. They have a full bar there and a good menu with choices appropriate for a meeting/ballroom room equipped hotel.
