DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston North Shore

I stayed at this hotel on the night of February 27th to celebrate my son’s birthday. I chose this location because I wanted a warm, welcoming experience for our family, especially since we were also using the water park and spending a significant amount for the stay. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was disappointing. Instead of feeling welcomed, I was met with an unprofessional tone and attitude that made me uncomfortable approaching staff again during our stay. When concerns or questions arise, guests should feel supported and respected — especially in a family-centered environment. I truly wanted this visit to feel special, and while the amenities may appeal to families, customer service plays a major role in the overall experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriou

Nice hotel. We were on the dog floor, apparently. People bring dogs and leave them like it’s a kennel. Bad owners left pups for hours. I heard one or two barking for 5 hours. I got into a “meeting” with one absentee owner who told me to mind my business, called me a bitch. Maybe the hotel should screen the dog customers? Although, stupid people will persist…

Highly recommended! We originally booked 2 nights but ended up staying a total of 6 nights because we felt so relaxed and well-rested here. The staff are very helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, and the free parking is a big plus. Even though the location is a bit away from the city, we loved the peaceful, private, and quiet atmosphere. It even snowed during our stay, which made the place feel extra warm and cozy. And we absolutely love the DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies at the reception!

Our experience at the Double Tree North Shore was not a favorite. The woman at check in wasn’t overly warm and welcoming - did not offer the signature double tree cookies or any recognition as Hilton honors members - and more importantly, gave zero help in directing us towards our room, which was in a tricky part of the hotel that took us twenty minutes to find. The one bright spot in our stay was an employee we ran into going into a housekeeping closet who walked us to our room when we were lost and frustrated. Walls are paper thin, floors are uncomfortable and uneven, there was an actual spit ball on our Ceiling and there was trash everywhere. Super bummed as we’ve always had great experiences with the Hilton Honors family … until now.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. There is so much to do in the hotel itself. There is an exceptional gym option and an arcade. There is an awesome pool/Jacuzzi area on top of an indoor water park with a bar and the breakfast at the hotel is more than you can ask for. We got our moneys worth during our stay. The rooms are very clean the hotel is minutes away from shipping, food, and entertainment. Great spot for a romantic weekend or time with the family. Easy trip into Boston. Will definitely stay again.
