Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel

We stayed here the first time we ever visited Danvers and was great, a few years later we stayed again and it was horrible and vowed never to stay again, but due to travel times it was best available for this trip. It was truly great to see a turn around to how it was the first ever time and new staff have made a huge difference. |Staff were all super friendly and seeing them dressed up and in characters for Halloween day was wonderful. |Breakfast was typical Best Western and choice for all. Only downside is the sunshine shining in the seating area can get super hot. Also post food there sometimes is not a good clean of the seating area and we saw couple of times same food on floor the next day or tables with spillages that had not been cleared up the next day. Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel- Danvers MA||||This Best Western was excellent for those with a budget in mind. Nothing too fancy but it is in a safe location, well- lit free outside parking area, free WiFi and complimentary breakfast.||The staff was very friendly. My husband & I were greeted with a smile by Rueben at front desk reception area. He was very personable and I got the sense that he enjoys the hospitality industry and is able to solve and accommodate the many requests and questions the guests of a lively 400+ room hotel might have. His brother Oliver, who keeps the breakfast area spotless, replenishes the bagels, English muffins, coffee station, yogurts, fruits, cereals etc. was very easy to talk to. You can tell that great pride is taken in caring for the large space.||We

My son and I have travelled to MANY different states and stayed in many different hotels! This was by FAR the BEST!!! Every single staff member was beyond amazing and incredibly friendly! The food choices were beyond incredible so so tasty! We went through 4 different waffle flavors during our stay! I am super super picky about my coffee but their coffee was sooo delicious!!! My son and I loved using the coffee bar they had in the lobby to share a late night coffee and hot chocolate! We loved that we got to use the pool there (could have been a little bit cleaner and warmer) we actually spent a whole day just swimming! We also loved how close we were to everywhere!!! My friend and I visited 10/28 to 11/1 and we were so happy with our stay! The rooms were clean, the location was beautiful and the staff were friendly. Bob at the front desk was especially helpful with resolving a complaint I had and recommended a wonderful pizza place on a day we were so tired from exploring. Literally my only complaint and reason for 4/5 stars are 2 things: 1. The walls are paper thin. If you have rowdy neighbors that let their kids jump on the bed and wrestle, you will hear everything and you might feel your headboard move. 2. The scrambled eggs for breakfast ate atrocious. I don't usually have expectations for a free continental breakfast, but these eggs had a texture that made them inedible - like powdered eggs mixed with pectin then steamed. Other guests
