DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Billings

When my husband and I got to our room, the bathtub was dirty. We informed the front desk who said sometimes when the rooms next to us use the toilet and/or shower, ours backs up… They said they would send someone up to clean it but we were on our way to dinner so we told them to wait until we got back. When we got back to the room and the housekeeper came in, we went to look out the window while they cleaned the tub. We were talking and made a comment about how dirty the window was and then the housekeeper came out saying they were done. We thanked them and they left. Fast forward to 1:30 AM, we get woken up by the room next door. We could hear them talking on the phone and we could even hear the person they were talking to. Beautiful accommodations, clean, and comfortable room/bed. Try to get there early if you like parking in front of the hotel because the small parking lot fills up fast. There is a parking garage connected to the hotel that handles the over flow. Space at the door to unload bags is limited so be aware. Overall I’d recommend.

First, the front desk staff are amazing. Welcoming and professional. The place is nice and clean, with a good vibe. I have stayed here several times and had consistently good service. However, my last stay, soon after check in while working in my room, housekeeping attempted to enter my room without knocking. Luckily, I had the security lock in place, so they couldn't open the door completely, and luckily I wasn't changing clothes. I followed them out to the hall, and they explained they were told the room was vacant. I understand mistakes happen. However, the following day, I did not receive room service at all. These incidents are not typical, but frustrating just the same, and thus the reason I gave a 4/5 rating.

This is a great hotel. Fresh cookies on checkin, $10 garage parking, and great views. The outlet situation by the beds is very 1980s but thankfully we brought a power bar. My only real complaint was that no matter how high we set the heat, the side of the room by the windows was freezing. The heater is actually quite loud when it kicks on. And then the window shades froze to the windows because there was ice on the inside of the windows!
