DoubleTree by Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park

Service was excellent. Everyone was pleasant, happy,helpful, and efficient. The stay was comfortable. The only recommendation I have is about the bathroom. Mine was a handicapped room. Although I am not handicapped, the sink/counter height is pretty tall. I am 5'7" and had a hard time reaching the faucet and the back of the counter to get the soap.

Positive: Even though the hotel was super full, the staff was great at fulfilling their duties. Negative: The only thing that I didn?t love was the pillows on the beds. They felt like you were sleeping on nothing. Other than that, great hotel!

We called three weeks in advance specifically to book a suite with a sofa bed to accommodate our group. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room did not have a sofa bed, which was very disappointing since that was the main reason for booking the suite. On top of that, when we went to take showers, there were only two towels provided for four people, which was inconvenient and unexpected. Overall, the lack of accuracy with the room reservation and basic amenities made our stay frustrating. Better communication and attention to guest needs would greatly improve the experience

First time staying at this hotel and found it to be excellent. Most importantly, the mattress was totally comfortable. Perhaps second most, the room felt expansive and updated. And perhaps third most important, the people working here were gracious and helpful.

Syble at the front desk was cheerful pleasant and helpful. Anastasia who was working breakfast so so sweet. Their continental breakfast was delicious with so many great options. Their dinner was a welcome respite after a long day of driving. It was surprisingly delicious. One of the best hotel restaurant dinners I have ever had. The rooms were quiet and spacious. The bathroom was comfortable. The shower was better than most hotel showers. I liked the way the soap smelled (Pillows were the only bad part of the experience but I dont like feather pillows that Hilton uses)
