Dogwood Park Inn

Do NOT book here. Rooms are twice as expensive as any hotel in the area, and half the quality. I found two cochroaches in two days, management offered to spray the room for bugs. I insisted they refund my money for the day, checkout is at 11 am, and I reported this issue at 2:00 pm. They wouldn't refund me. Also the showers supply lukewarm water, and they do not clean the rooms daily.

Stayed here for two nights. Didn’t know ahead of time that it was no pets or that there was a $50 deposit. Though that may be my fault, i skimmed the website. There was a $64 cancellation fee so we decided to just stay instead of looking elsewhere. Overall the place is nice, the bathroom and fridge were very clean, the fridge actually froze the ice pack i put in there. Last place i was at couldn’t freeze it even with the fridge on max. I had no issue getting my deposit back at checkout time. Overall a decent place, my main complaint would be that the room door only had a handle key lock, with no bolt or chain.

The rooms are not fancy, But clean and comfortable. I have stayed hear 4 times and never had any problems , always been quiet. The staff are always friendly.||reasonable rates. My wife and I just spent our 25th wedding anniversary hear at the dogwood on july 4 weekend ,enjoyed the sights, pythian castle just down the street and the aquarium at Bass Pro Shop. We had a great time .I highly recommend the Dogwood Park Inn.

The cost is high for the condition of the rooms but if you are a local looking to rent a room then this is ur place since they allow it when most hotels require u to be from out of town. The rooms are ran down & dingy for $80-100 per night

The price is about the same as everywhere else in the area. I got my $50.00 deposit back which is nice. The girl cleaning the rooms did a good job and she was so cute bundled up in all her winter attire. The rooms could use a little work but, mine wasn't horrible and my socks stayed pretty clean walking around in the room and that's always a plus. The owner was extremely nice and honest.
