Deluxe inn hotel

I want to put this out there as a serious warning for anyone considering staying at this motel on Fares Avenue, because while it may seem decent at first, living here long-term is a completely different story. When I first moved in, the room itself was very clean and quiet. It has a bathtub, which is something you don’t always get in weekly motels, and the weekly rate is $240 plus a $10 deposit. You get an actual key instead of a key card, which I personally prefer. Most of the rooms have large smart TVs connected to Wi-Fi, so you can use Netflix, Amazon, or whatever streaming services you have. On the surface, it feels like a decent place to stay, and that’s honestly what makes everything else so much more infuriating. Let’s talk about the beds, because no one mentions this enough. The be

The sheets caused ashy rashes, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. They barely changed the towels. I’m Black, so I can’t speak on how white guests were treated, but I know I was treated poorly. This was only for one week, and honestly, it felt like some of it was because I’m Black. Certain things they did and said made that clear. There are no refunds, but my boyfriend handled it. The heat went out, and when we politely asked to be moved to another room, they refused and just let us freeze. It’s okay though everything happens for a reason. It just wasn’t meant to be.
