Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albany

I hardly ever leave reviews. I only booked this room bc the reviews I saw were fairly good and they accept dogs, so we gave them a chance. I feel obligated to give others the heads up I wish I saw. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The room was absolutely disgusting. Floors and baseboards covered in dirt. Zero hooks, shelves or dresser to even hang your clothes or keep off the ground. Pillows had other peoples hair all over it. Hair in the shower. Shower surround where it meets the tub is covered in mold. Shower handle is broken, crap shoot if you are getting hot or cold water, take a guess if it’s going to turn on or off, and then the handle just falls off. Main door and bathroom door are not aligned so they don’t even latch, can not use deadbolt on main door and bathroom door won’t stay

My experience at this hotel was bad. When we entered the room, there was a strong cigarette smell. When I went to the bathroom, there were cockroaches in the toilet. The bathroom floor and mirror were dirty.||Also, when we booked through Expedia, it said that a continental breakfast was included. However, when we went to breakfast, the only things available were juice and coffee, which was very disappointing.

Reasonable amount of issues with hotel housekeeping staff and may just be a language barrier issue. I had some trouble with the placement of my room so if you have kids it’s important to make it clear if there are any special needs so as to keep them from being presumptuous.

I’m not sore what others were complaining about. I was so happy to find a clean room, lots of choices on the television. Bed was comfortable and had a great stay.

The photos looked amazing, the bathrooms, everything. I’m starting to think they used photos from other places. The bathrooms don’t look anything like the photos, and the bedroom does look similar, except the photos seem very edited. There’s random peoples hair in the garbage, heating isn’t very good, toilet won’t flush properly, random gunk on bathroom walls, yellow marks around wall tiles of bathroom. The beds seem to be fine without deep checking it. Never coming back to a days inn again, very disappointed.
