Days Inn by Wyndham St Cloud

Our group booked rooms here while traveling for a funeral this week and unfortunately had a very poor experience with the condition of the hotel. One of the rooms in our party had heavily stained carpet and furniture that appeared to have bodily fluids or vomit stains, and it did not look like the room had been properly cleaned before check-in. Photos were taken documenting the condition. Because of the sanitation concerns, our group decided to relocate to another hotel. The location is convenient with plenty of nearby food, shopping, and restaurants, but the cleanliness and room standards need serious improvement. The front desk is also not always staffed, and guests may need to call a number for assistance when arriving. Travelers should also be aware that the hotel did not offer any

Could tell that they were undergoing renovations, so tried to be forgiving. However, one of the front doors appeared to be hanging on for dear life. The reception at the desk was very kind and accommodating. The room was surface clean, bedding was clean and in good condition, bathroom was clean but could tell it had been a while since things had been 'deep cleaned'. But the carpets were very worn and stained. No hair dryer, air throughout the hotel was very stale and it felt like it needed a good 'airing out'. The swimming pool was closed for renovations. We were out for most of the evening, and returned rather late at night. None of the side or back entrances were accessible by using our room card, so we had to walk around the building to the front entrance. Absolutely NO security at that

Positive: NOTHING Negative: WORST EXP EVER - $100 surprise deposit or you cant check in and cant get a refund, filthy room, no coffee, no breakfast except one bowl of apples, no juice machine and staff that do not care. People smoking marijuana in the halls and staff doesn't care

I am extremely disappointed in this company I booked a room through super.com it did not show or say anything about a deposit I was not able to afford the deposit and they will not refund or let me change the date to when I can afford the deposit I’m asking to switch it from a Saturday to a Thursday night (which it’s cheaper rates during the week so they would not even be out any money) if I had made this mistake before I would be understanding but for then to choose to do business like this when I’m not trying to get a freebie just what I paid for. This world is hard enough without companies doing business like this, the booking website is willing to do a refund and the hotel isn’t willing to to a refund or switch the date of the room. It was nice to have everything close by for any easy walk. The rooms are very warm and the hot showers last. It's quiet at night and affordable. What else can one ask for. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. I had a great experience. It's worth booking a week or two.
