Days Inn by Wyndham Mount Vernon

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room smelled good, was clean, and well kept. The hotel was clean and well-kept overall as well. It's definitely better than expected, and I would stay there again .

This place is horrible and deserves a negative review. I have never ever written a review in my entire life, but I feel pulled to encourage people to stay literally anywhere else in the area. The manager is absolutely horrible to deal with. She yelled at us and refused to return money SHE OVERCHARGED US. Then got the police involved, and suddenly, when we showed them our bank account statements... she was able to refund it accurately. Interesting how she was able to do that with police around but not around us when we tried to remedy the situation ourselves. Stay somewhere else. The rooms aren't great either. You're not missing anything.

It's not very clean and although the room was spacious it was not very clean and very loud also the floor felt soft like it would fall through, I was visiting my daughter there in Mt Vernon. Next time I'll pay more just to avoid that place. Also says continental breakfast bug when we got down there ,there was a jug of milk and dry cereal. Two thumbs down for money value , cleanliness, although the man at the desk was friendly he just gave me the vibe that he's not going to be if I complain. Ya know what I'm saying? Anyway, there's plenty more big name hotels in the area , just make sure they haven't sold out yet.!!!or " franchised" out. If so then don't go 🤐

Positive: Economical stay. Place was clean & tidy. Negative: Water pressure & plumbing needs a serious update.Noisy neighbors upstairs kept stomping on the floor as they went in & out of their room.

Room was nice and big. Couch was too low for us old folks. Fire alarm went off 3 times at 5 in the morning. Firetrucks showed up. Because the alarms were staccato, I called down and asked if we should evacuate. Was told that no, the alarm just went off, and they were adjusting it. Then when we went to leave, the elevator didn't work and had an electrical fire smell. Hate to think we could have been trapped and burning in the hotel because they didn't want to panic the guests!
