Days Inn by Wyndham Hagerstown I-70

I had a very unpleasant experience during check-in. The man at the front counter that night, I believe Is the owner, was rude overall. As me and my girlfriend, both arrived at the front counter, he automatically assumed the reservation was under her name. He demanded to see her ID and told her that the name on her ID must match the name on her debit card, that I used (not her), to book the rom online. She told him that it was booked under my name, not hers. And he continued to say that it was booked under her. I told him that the reservation was booked under my name, but he said no, assuring that it was under her name. We were both very confused, as she realized that no name had even been mentioned yet. She asked him “how do you even know my name?” He responded with my name, which is the o

Positive: The bed was comfortable. We were glad that we could bring our Beagle with us. Negative: The Breakfast Bar was a joke. It was almost Coffee and donuts.

I came to the days inn because I just needed the cheapest place to stay for one night available in Hagerstown, and none of the Airbnbs were available or cheaper. The lobby wasn’t particularly nice or modern, the room was a bit cold, and the shower took a long time to warm up. But overall, those are my only complaints. The room was clean when I showed up, it was nice, and didn’t smell like smoke (it’s a non-smoking room, so that was to be expected). It had everything I needed, and it was very functional for a one night stay of just “I need a bed”.

If I could give this place is zero I would. First the night we stayed there. There were bugs in the room and I said something to the front desk I booked online and nowhere in that booking. Did it say there was an additional charge mind you I went here on February 13 and was told the refund would be put back on my card. It is now the 17th and the money is still not on my card. Also the TV kept cutting in and out and then in the morning it wasn’t even 8:30 in the morning. I had a do not disturb on my door and one of the cleaning people open the door and asked us if we were checking out mind you check out isn’t until 11 o’clock. I called the front desk to ask about my refund, and the woman started yelling at me and just being completely disrespectful by far. The worst hotel I have ever stayed

More bang for the buck in this small western MD town. Close to the interstate, but better than an average highway motel. This place is well-equipped and maintained, and checks off the right boxes for a comfortable stay. Parking is fairly close, there are baggage carts and an elevator. Ice and sundries are indoors off the lobby. Once inside the room, everything is clean and in working order. More ac outlets and USB than usual. Lighting good, but not harsh or intrusively automated. Ventilated bath with separate sink, and plenty of mirrors. Bed and linens clean and of good quality. The climate control is accurate to the wall-mounted thermostat. Decent fridge and micro.
