Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte/Woodlawn Near Carowinds

Walkable to light rail accesable from airport by taking 2 busses. Light rail runs early to after 1am. Azteca next door had allot of regular customer. Th bed was comfortable. They should not advertise a breakfast. New paints carpet and well quite a bit to improve this place but not really a complaint as am thankful for the affordable stay

Positive: Location Negative: Hotel was very dirty, had to be moved to a different room because of broken things. Staff was very rude and made me pay more money once arriving to hotel.

I never leave commented reviews. This is the worst Days Inn by Wyndham I've ever stayed at and its a reflection of the management and team. I travel for business so I have stayed at many Days Inns. This one has no elevator, so I had to climb stairs with several bags in my hands. They have a luggage cart, but that's useless for stairs. The hallway where the stairs are smells like cat pee and body odor. My bathroom had cracks in the wall and the bathroom floor and the hair dryer does not work. They advertise free breakfast and the pictures show a waffle maker, cereal, some bread and a juice dispenser. It was from 6am - 9am. I go down there 10 min to 8 and there is absolutely nothing there but maybe like 6 bagels and a coffee machine. There was no waffle maker, no juice, no cereal.

The room was unsafe and we could not stay there. Our ground floor room had a sliding glass door that did not lock and the carpet was soaking wet in the room. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and refunded our money quickly.

This hotel was disgusting when we came in it looked unkept. The host was unkept. Hadn’t swept floors, wires hanging from the walls was coming out. trash full trash bags in the hallway at 10 o’clock at night. Multiple different smells specially like someone was smoking, but it’s supposed to be non-smoking hotel The baseboards was rotten. We got into our room and we noticed there was roaches everywhere on the doors. We didn’t even sit anything down we turned immediately around, Went back to the host and told him about how the room was terrible and it did not look like the pictures and I paid for two beds and they gave me a king size bed.
