Crown Inn

I don’t know why there are a lot of bad reviews. Obviously it’s a one star hotel so the rooms aren’t going to be pretty. The main thing on any budget hotel “bed bugs” there where NO bed bugs which is what anyone should look for. By the way, all budget hotel travelers carry a can of bug spray anyways. If we all pitch in a little at a time we can make a better place together one step at a time. I mainly got this hotel to make sure there was heat on some of the coldest days, and to get over a cold. Not everyone’s heater can keep up in 20 degree weather. Great hotel for what I paid, the owners a pretty chill, and the hotel cats are nice.

1st room smelled so bad I puked. 2nd room toilet falling thru the floor. Each room didn't come with towels or soap. 3 Rd room has a makeshift mirror above bed. The room is filled with broken down furniture and bedding that looks like it was taken from the trash. It was the closest hotel near where my son and husband are working. I spent 1st night cleaning. Thank God it will only be 2 nights total. The owners should be ashamed of their greedy shisty self. $75 a night? They were concerned of my service animals. News flash my animals are cleaner than they are.

The service is good. The bed sheets looked slept in , I only have two pillows. The stand up shower feels nice . They look as though they are atleast attempting to renovate , they just don't have the funds . Which is probably why it was cheap online . They have a no visitors rule which is diabolical but understandable in a way . The bed feels nice . I would only recommend this place to someone on a tight budget. No roaches or bed bugs.

I’ve been told that the property is under new management, and they are working diligently to renovate and upgrade the property. It’s a work in progress trying to correct the problems they have inherited from the previous owners. It is an older property, most likely built in the early ‘60s, which does give the property a bit of character. But with properties this old, maintaining it is an ongoing chore, as major repairs are costly and time consuming. The entire staff was very friendly, and the management bent over backwards to accommodate my needs (I’m disabled). The property does have some issues, but they are fixing the problems as quickly as they can. I hope that eventually the motel will have handicapped rooms available in order to give disabled guest full access to entering the bathr

The only Respect and Help I've seen here is from the Quest and the House keeper! Managers are very rude and disrespectful, they put us in a room that wasn't ready to be rented out. Toilet won't flush,sink is about to fall down,cold water doesn't work. There's no TV, Microwave or fridge in this room and the heater barely works. It has gotten better from what it use to be but it needs better people to be over this place. The workers here are disrespected as well and treated like dogs
