Courtyard by Marriott Portland Airport

They have amazing staff and their rooms are sooooo spacious. I had two different front desk ladies and both were super sweet and helpful. It’s pretty specious in the rooms compared to others. It’s my first hotel that has a fridge AND microwave. Normally I got a fridge for leftovers but can never heat it up to eat when I’m staying in a hotel. There’s also an ironing board with iron for those who wonder about that. Room is fully stocked with everything - even has a hair dryer for you. Beds are clean and comfortable and AC was BLASTING (which I love). AC works so well I have it set to 73 right now and I normally have it at 69. If you encounter an issue here, be aware that management will likely not take responsibility or work toward a reasonable resolution. My husband and I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and shuttle service, as we had an early morning flight the next day. At check-in, I asked if the shuttle would be available at 5:30am and was told it would be running at that time and every half hour. There was no mention of needing a reservation (which we would have gladly made) or any indication that we wouldn't be able to board the shuttle (which we would have planned around accordingly). The next morning, we went down to the lobby at 5:15am and learned the 5:30am and 6am shuttles were full and that reservations were required. We had no choice but to call a Lyft to make our flight. My only complaint is that the hotel has 2 full sized beds for 4 people. The service was great and the lobby offered coffee. It’s right near the airport which means you can see a lot of planes but luckily you can’t hear them inside the hotel.

Convenient location by the airport but not in walking distance of the Cascade shopping area. The rooms are a bit dated, but the beds were comfortable. Super small bathroom. No breakfast included and $10 parking fee. Our room was quiet and had a mini frig. and microwave which we appreciated. On a busy road so ask for a quiet room. We got a very good deal for the first name so I would stay there again but wouldn’t pay top dollar.
