Courtyard by Marriott Peoria

Room was clean and ready. Bathroom was clean and very comfortable. Remote control for the TV wasn’t so great. Probably just needed new batteries. Bed was comfortable and pillows were soft. |All in all it was nice and comfortable. Close to several places to eat, Target and Walmart. We would definitely recommend staying here.

I had 3 family members in the ICU of the local hospital. Lost my mother in law during this time. The staff catered to our every need. Went above and beyond to help make the best of a bad time. I travel for work and use hotels often. This was by far the best hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. Manager was top notch and caring. Gave me his personal number in case I needed anything at all. Super pleased and highly recommended to anyone. Hotel was nice too. Good food and coffee. Hot tub and pool worked well. Very clean.

We checked into 14 rooms for a family event. We had some beers to sit in the lobby and the manger told us sorry you can’t sit and have beers in the lobby. Ps their bar was closed. He said its company policy. Marriot corporate said must be a policy to that location. The whole point of having family stay is at a hotel is to gather together. Its disappointing.

Checked in on a Friday night. Went to use the pool-hot tub to find out it was closed. Then decided to go to the bar for a glass of wine because we couldn’t use the pool but the bar-bistro was also closed. Woke up the next morning to use the gym & it was disgusting. Worked out without having trying to touch anything…no water station, no sanitizer…went to get a coffee after working out & there was 2 sketchy looking carafes with powered creamer & sugar packets. Apparently you can pay extra for good coffee at the bistro but there was no staff working to help. I’ve spent a great deal of time traveling & never paid so much for so little & will not be going to a Marriott anytime soon.

Recently stayed at this hotel and was awakened in the early am by someone trying to get in to my room - luckily I had the security latch which caught the door. Extremely terrifying as a solo woman staying alone. I packed my things and left within 30 min of the event - I messaged the hotel shortly thereafter and got a “we’ll look in to this” message. No immediate offer of points or compensation. Other reviews make it seem like this has happened to others!! On top of that the bathroom door doesnt fully close, the hair dryer popped the fuse and the bistro is woefully understaffed at breakfast (shout out to the one bistro worker, you tried your best!) I will be working with my company to remove this hotel from our business options for selectable hotels on business trips - will never stay
