Courtyard by Marriott Lynchburg

Positive: It wasn't bad. Negative: Breakfast was expensive for the quality especially compared to what is available nearby.A self serve breakfast, even for a fee, would have been better. They'd probably make more money selling breakfast.

This place was super clean the staff was very polite and courteous, plenty of stuff around the hotel as far as food to try out. Did a last minute deal on Priceline would definitely stay again.

My husband and daughter drove from PA to VA for a college visit. I booked the hotel in advance. They arrived very late in the night/early morning to find not a single employee working. Not one. My husband calls the police concerned. Employee runs into hotel and quits on the spot because she said she knows she will be fired. No employee to check them in. Husband and daughter have not slept but my husband doesn’t feel comfortable leaving knowing there’s no employee working. Calls corporate number and they provide zero assistance due me booking through a third party. Insanity from start to finish and an entire hotel with out a single employee all night. Waiting for a resolution. In the meantime have a broken hearted teen bc we have to postpone her visit.

They stole $100 from me. I called several hotels in the area because I had my dog and wanted to find a pet friendly hotel and to ask if there were fees. Many of the hotels charge $25 so finally I called this hotel and was told there no fees and no restrictions. I told them I would be there shortly. I arrived 5 minutes later and the woman greeted me by saying "you got here quickly" we chatted for a few minutes and she asked if I had a floor preference and I said my dog hates elevators and I don't like being on the first floor so let's do the second floor. She gave me the keys and I drove around and unloaded the car and my dog. The woman was an older,shorter, heavy-set woman with glasses and a nice personality. When I checked out and got home I discovered a $100 pet fee charge. They lied to

I stayed at this location while moving my son into Liberty. I enjoyed this hotel, but my younger child did not; there is no pool. This Courtyard was very clean and comfortable. I liked that it was off of the main highway so there was less noise. It was easy to get to all locations. The staff were all personable and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in the colder season!
